TES Super Seminar

Posted: February 15, 2024

Our next TES Super Seminar will be held Apr. 26–27. We are eager to hear from Dr. Dale Johnson, who is a professor of Biblical Counseling at Mid-Western Baptist Theological Seminary, a member of one of our TES campuses, Mission Road Bible Church in Kansas City, and director of ACBC (The Association of Certified Biblical Counselors). Dr. Johnson will be teaching on the subject of “The Church as a Culture of Care.” God has designed every function of the church to be an integral part of soul care. Prayer, the Word, the work of the Holy Spirit, and Christian community are God’s provisions to lead all of us to Christ—even those with the deepest struggles. The heart of this seminar is for our churches to be empowered to have confidence in God’s purpose for the church, the power of his Spirit, and the sufficiency of his Word for soul care. The cost is $25/person and $35/family, and registration begins Tuesday, Feb. 20 by visiting Dale’s book will be available for purchase at the bookstore that weekend at a discounted rate. During this time, our men are taught various areas of practical theology and the spiritual shepherding of God’s people. To download the curriculum, please visit
